My honey is a nurse, However, I've never paid much attention to nursing week. All I know is, it is a week to show our appreciation to all nurses. Later I found out that nurses can be nominated for an award, call outstanding nurse. This year, my honey is one of the nominee.
Although honey kept telling me the award is nothing important, it doesn't come with a cash prizes or give her a promotion, I cannot stop to feel so proud of her.
Every time our friends ask her, "How's work?" She always says, "same old same old. I walk in, do my job and then go home."
But I could see she really care about her patients. I can tell how serious she is when she tells me that patients safety is always first priority. I can tell how good her management skill is when she tells me how to handle differences between staffs. I can tell how rich her knowledge is when she explains the medical terms to me during our discussion on things.
Her professional attitude toward work is finally rewarded. She got the award. She is one of the Outstanding Nurse on 2009.
Congratulation, Honey!
You make me so proud!
